Book Group

The group selects and reads a book monthly that examines faith and issues that impact our community and meets up to discuss it.

We will be reading The Amen Effect by Sharon Brous.

The Amen Effect dives into our fundamental human longing for connection-in our most intimate relationships, in our community, with strangers, perhaps with God. Faith and ritual are powerful vehicles for this kind of connection, but so is simply reaching out, showing up, being present when others need us most.

All are welcome to join! Email office@peacechristianchurch.org with the subject line "Book Group" if you're interested.

Bible & Brew

Beer, theology, and conversation. It’s as simple as that for our bi-weekly gatherings where we explore the ways theology teaches us to be radically inclusive, seek social justice, and care for one another. Our Associate Pastor, Paula Lafferty, will be facilitator.
