Brad Chance, our resident scholar, will be leading us in a Bible study -EARLY CHRISTIAN WRITINGS THAT DID NOT "MAKE THE CUT"

We will focus on writings associated with Gnosticism, a very popular expression of early Christianity. We will explore the beliefs of Gnosticism and some texts from the New Testament that show awareness of and sharp disagreements with early Gnostic beliefs. And we will let the Gnostics speak for themselves, looking at the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Truth, and the Gospel of Mary.
